Winter wedding guest dressing is one of my favourite things. In summer, we’re all about soft shades and diaphanous silhouettes to help us look chic in the heat. For a cold weather wedding, though it maybe icy outside, you’re cozy and comfortable in a fabulous indoor space, which means you can up the glamour factor with textural fabrics like velvet and lace and dramatic shades like ruby, emerald and classic black. And because it’s party season, there’s loads of sequins and shine (liquid lamé anyone?) in the mix, which look especially fabulous for a holiday-adjacent wedding.And 2023 is one of the best times in recent years to shop this style because it’s so sparkly and bright.
