Who said #hmrc is under resourced? £305m spent on a system 😱Is that with Fujitsu? The #government is investing £305m in a single login system for #taxpayers and #agents using online services such as HMRC with the launch of GOV.UK One LoginThe new login service has two factor authentication and will be rolled out across all government web services to replace Government Gateway accounts over the next three years. The project is being led by the Cabinet Office with #HMRC one of the first government departments planning to roll out the service. In future, users will only need a single login to access all central government services, rather than remembering multiple accounts and passwords. Gradually, over time, One Login will replace all existing login and identity checking platforms across central government. Government Gateway is over 20 years old and was first introduced in January 2001.

Spammers often try to obtain personal information by posing as a trusted organization and requesting account verification from individuals via phone or text. It’s important to confirm where this request is coming from, especially if you didn’t ask for it. When in doubt, call the number you know (and keep it handy). You can apply the saved number rule to wherever you take care of your finances!#fraudprevention #informationsecurity

Hmmm....so we have many computer security, IT and others on this site. So the voting challenge...how would you vet and secure the vote to be genuine and with integrity. What normal everyday things do you do in your world to provide security. Yes.....they will do a credit score on you to buy a house, car, etc. They know you, yet they make it easy to cheat on voting, withhold data, ballots and other items. This is a modern day world isn't it.....should they be able to cheat and withhold the obvious. You have a town, city with 1000, 10,000 or more registered, verified voters.....should there be no more than that number of votes? You guys can trace information and do a check in milliseconds. There are QR codes, bar codes, background checks and other avenues of verification. IRS can trace your move to collect back taxes.....it simply leaves one to wonder if done purposely. What do you say guys? Simply curious. OH yeh I understand that the band width has been tested in the lab for fiber optic cable at fantastic amounts of transmitted data just recently ....per 1440 3 days ago "Researchers demonstrateoptical fiber with data transfer rates above 300 terabits, or roughly 1 million times faster than average household broadband..." Don't tell me it can't be done to verify each and every vote as authentic.

Member Benefit: NASCUS has published a summary of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's (CFPB) Final Rule: Credit Card Penalty Fees (Regulation Z). The final rule adopts a late fee safe harbor threshold of $8 for large card issuers for initial and subsequent violations and provides that the annual safe harbor amount adjustments, to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), do not apply to the $8 safe harbor amount.
